Our founder, B.A. Stear, grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania and graduated Lehigh University in 2003 with degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Astrophysics followed by a Masters from the University of Colorado. His work on building next generation satellites and working in the space field has truly earned him the term Rocket Scientist, which his friends routinely call him when explaining what he does. B.A. spent eight years in the aerospace industry, but that is where his passions took a sharp turn from the norm of his peers.
Shooting was a culture for him growing up, and since graduating he had the ambition to open a shooting range that would change the entire industry. He accomplished that dream by building Shoot Indoors, an indoor firing range in the suburbs of Denver, which utilized the TAPER-Range patented design to cut the equipment costs down by $100,000. B.A. also provides advisory services to entrepreneurs who want to improve their business plans or use data analytics to make their operations rapidly profitable.
